Co-Founder & CEO
Rush co-founded Onyx in 2020 with a mission to reduce the academic dropout rate in South Africa. An Endeavor entrepreneur and graduate of one of SA's top universities, Rush leads the company vision, strategy and spearheaded the innovation, implementation and development of the Onyx AI-Hybrid model.

Co-Founder & COO
Chernel brings operational excellence to Onyx. As co-founder she has been instrumental in building the platform from the ground up. She leads B2B sales and is skilled at scaling startups. Chernel is passionate about making quality education accessible to every South African student.

Co-Founder & CTO
Sachin leads the technology architecture behind Onyx and serves as the technical architect of the AI tutor platform. His focus on scalable systems and infrastructure has helped Onyx pioneer AI-powered tutoring trained on CAPS, IEB and Cambridge curricula in South Africa.
